Powderbird continues operations as the only permitted helicopter ski outfitter in Utah. We have expanded our operations to offer our guests a convenient heliport facility located at the base of Snowbird Resort. We also have multiple high performance aircraft, a team of world-class guides and helicopter operations around the world. Whether you are interested in our world famous Utah operation, exploring the arctic mountains of Greenland or joining us on one of our discover destinations abroad; Powderbird has the team and the experience to make your powder dreams a reality.

Lake effect storms bring us our coveted Utah powder. Even when the big flakes are falling and helicopters aren’t flying, Powderbird guests are delivered the goods through our weather day program at Snowbird. Clients will have a full day experience based at the Powderbird heliport that includes breakfast, lunch and guided skiing at Snowbird with lift line cutting access and entry into The Cliff Lodge.

Powderbird's heliport is nestled in the beautiful Wasatch Mountain Range surrounded by an abundance of world class ski resorts, such as Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, Solitude, Deer Valley, and Park City. Remarkably, these locations are a mere 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport where direct flights from London, Paris, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and New York arrive everyday. With Salt Lake nearby, a day gliding through powder in the mountains can easily be capped off with fine dining or an NBA game in the valley!
