At Wasatch Powderbird Guides we try to facilitate the best vacation
possible. Lodging is not included unless you are enrolled in one of

Our heliport is located just 29 miles from the Salt Lake International
Airport, providing excellent lodging and legendary skiing access just
a short time after landing. Lodging in Little Cottonwood Canyon is
very convenient for our Utah trips and the ski-in/ski-out access of
many of the lodges ensure that your access to the resort is unhampered.

Snowbird offers a variety of lodges featuring the spectacular Cliff
Lodge and their world-class spa facilities. At the Cliff Spa you can
enjoy massages, facial treatments, and yoga, as well as a range
of other activities. Other hotels at Snowbird include
The Lodge, The Inn and The Iron Blossom. At Snowbird there is convenient
access to restaurants, pools, shopping, tubing hills, and even ice skating.

The
town of Alta offers many lodging options including hotels and condos. The
Alta Rustler Lodge is a nice updated hotel with a beautiful
view of the resort. There are many options for condos located
within the town of Alta. Alta boasts many dining options, shops, and
even a cross country ski trail. For an exquisite dining experience

Transportation
There are some convenient transportation options if you decide not to
rent a car. These companies can either pick you up at your hotel
or the airport to bring you up to the heliport. The most widely used
company is Canyon
Transportation.
They offer a variety of group and private shuttles. They even shuttle
clients within Little Cottonwood Canyon between Alta and Snowbird
facilities. They can be contacted at 1(800) 255-1841.
Driving Directions
Please download
the driving instructions from the Salt Lake International
Airport, Park City, Downtown Salt Lake City, and points south. If you
have any questions or get lost do not hesitate to call (801) 742-2800

From
the Salt Lake International Airport take I-80 East
to I-215 South. Take Exit 6 (6200 South) and go east on 6200 South,
toward the mountains. This road will lead you straight to UT-210
and up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird. Exit at Entry 4 at
Snowbird (also known as the Alta Bypass Road). WPG is located on
the left side approximately 1/4 mile up the road.
From Downtown Salt Lake City take 500 South west to I-15
and head south. Exit at I-215 heading east. Get off at Exit 6 (6200
South) and go east on 6200 South, toward the mountains. This road
will lead you straight to UT-210
and up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird. Exit at Entry 4 at
Snowbird (also known as the Alta Bypass Road). WPG is located on
the left side approximately 1/4 mile up the road.
From the south take I-15 North to Exit 298 (9000 South).
Turn right onto 9000 South. This street becomes 9400 South, which takes
you to the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Go right on UT-210.
It's then about 6 miles up to WPG. Exit at Entry 4 at Snowbird
(also known as the Alta Bypass Road). WPG is located on the left
side approximately 1/4 mile up the road.
From Park City take UT-224 west and north to I-80, head
west toward the Salt Lake Valley. Take Exit 130 to I-215 South.
Get off at Exit 6 (6200 South) and go east on 6200 South, toward
the mountains. This road will lead you straight to UT-210
and up Little Cottonwood Canyon to Snowbird. Exit at Entry 4 at
Snowbird (also known as the Alta Bypass Road). WPG is located on
the left side approximately 1/4 mile up the road.
