Come to Greenland for an unforgettable adventure skiing one of the last unexplored corners of the planet.

The giant arctic island now called Kalaallit Nunaat, Greenland is fringed by deep blue fjords that carve far into some of the snowiest mountains anywhere. Most of Greenland lies beneath two miles of ice...and yards of fresh powder just yearning for fresh tracks. A thousand years ago, Norsemen traversed the glaciers of Greenland on two-foot-long wooden planks. Skis may have changed a bit since then, but Greenland's slopes and chutes are still untracked, unnamed and untamed.

After a scenic flight from Copenhagen, our home on this magical island will be the 4-Star Maniitsoq Hotel, overlooking a harbor and quaint fishing village. From there, our itinerary can be as varied as the slopes we'll ski.

Want to spend a few days navigating the fjords and selecting your ski runs from a menu of breathtaking mountains? Hop on the Kisaq, a family-owned 90-foot ship with a heli-deck, cozy bunk rooms, and a window-walled mess hall serving traditional food cooked by the Kisaq's owner herself!

Interested in learning about Greenland's unique Inuit culture? Spend a night in the ancient Eskimo settlement at Kangaamiut, feasting on freshly caught fish and reindeer. If you'd like to take a break from skiing, here you can fish, kayak, hike or simply sip whiskey, gazing out over the emerald ocean and watching for whales.
