The easiest access to Greenland is most often through Copenhagen, Denmark. Some groups have found it possible to charter planes to Greenland from Canada or New York. Given enough skiers to make this economical, this is a good option. 
The currency used in Greenland is the Danish Kroner. They do not use the Euro Dollar. Check the web for the latest exchange rate. We have three lodging options. One option is to stay at a local four star hotel. This hotel is situated above Maniitsoq harbor, with views of passing sips and distant heli ski runs. The hotel boasts a bar and a French chef. All rooms have a phone and television. The two other options are for those who which to experience the Greenland environment in a more unique way. The second option is to stay on a chartered ship, the Kisaq, which navigates the fjords and allows us to explore different areas along the coast in style. The last lodging option is a 'homestay' in one of the local Inuit villages. This option is great to get the feel of Greenland culture and enjoy their hospitality. Vacations can also include a combination of these lodging options. Itineraries are designed to meet the needs and desires of our clients. |
